Take a look at this slob! This was a 21 pound buck landed this week on the Salmon River, NY with Tony Gugino of Tony's Salmon Country Guide Service. I follow Tony's reports on his blog and he consistently puts up nice photos of fish like this one...
Things have finally picked up on the Salmon River after a brutally long stretch of low flows and tough fishing. The USGS Salmon River Gauge at Pineville is up over 1000cfs and has been now for several days. With more water, the fish are much happier...and so are the fisherman. Waterline has the release at 1000cfs through tonight at least.
