almost over

                                                       VT bow from last week


We got slammed with rain this weekend and rivers a rather high right now.   The mid size creeks are fishable but flowing awful fast right now. On the plus side we had some warm temps.  That with the rain pushed most rivers over 50 degrees.  Right now the Winooski is 52 mid-day.  Another plus is the forecast is dry for the next 5 days so conditions should improve as water comes down.  In the meantime, streamers are going to be a good bet.  There has been some large fish landed this week before the rain and most of them came on streamers.  Mostly white buggers and crystal buggers are what has worked for us.
