Sorry for the delay in reports.  Here is what has been going on.  Foliage is peaking and looks awesome.   Last night we got some pretty good rains that measured up to an inch depending on where u are at.  Tribs looked awful this a.m. but are coming down.  Water temps have been as low as 50 and as high as 60 this week.  Mostly, I have seen caddis on the water but, this week has been rather warm so, that makes sense.  This weekend looks wet and raw with snow possible on mountain peaks and up to an inch of rain might fall thru sat.  What does that mean?  I would say streamers and heavy nymphs are going to be in effect for the near future. If we get mountain snow water temps will really chill to the point that I'm gonna want to be snagging up on my drifts to make sure I'm near bottom.  Also, if we get an inch of rain, the large rivers might be outta play for quite awhile because both the Lamoille and Winooski are brown and flowing above average already.  This week all of our fish have come subsurface.  Princes #12, PT nymphs ##12-#14,  and copper john's #14 have caught fish.  In this high water the fish have been in all the soft water and they have been in seams mostly.  Have at it, there are only 3 weeks left and snow is starting to fly!  Good luck.
