Any guesses as to who this young, aspiring angler is?? |
Last night air temps dropped down into the 20's and 30's, so local rivers and streams dropped in flow a bit. Things have come back up as the day's progressed and, given tomorrow's forecasted temps, we'll likely see more of that higher elevation snowpack making its way down through the river valleys in the form of murky, greenish water. The water will still be very cold, so focus on running nymphs and streamers low and slow in the water column to find those lazy, lethargic trout. We'll need some warmer weather to settle in before we see the first signs of Hendricksons, but it wont be long now!
